How to get to our houses from Keflavik airport?

HOW TO GET TO OUR HOUSES FROM KEFLAVIK AIRPORT?

For those of you who rent a car, find the itineraries from Keflavik airport to our houses here:

The address of the Blue House is Valhusabraut 19, 170 Slejarnarnes, Iceland.

Alternatively, you have the following options:

• Public buses:

Take bus line 55 at bus stop Hringbraut, Keflavik (direction Reykjavik) and get off at bus stop Ráðhúsið. There, get on bus 11 (direction Seljarnarnes) and get off at the bus stop Hæðarbraut and finally walk only a few minutes to get to the Blue House (Valhusabraut 19) or GNL (Valhusabraut 35).

A bus ticket costs 490 ISK (3.35 euro) per person. You would need to download the app from klappid.is to pay for the local bus ticket. You can also pay with Icelandic cash directly on board, but remember that the bus driver doesn’t have or give any change back.

• Airport shuttles:

One of the best ways to get to our houses is to take an airport shuttle from Keflavik airport to the Bus Terminal (BSI).

Then, you can either:

- get a taxi from the BSI bus terminal to our houses. The taxi number is +354 588 5522. The ride will cost around 20 euros.
- or catch the local public bus for 490 ISK (3.35 euro) per person. Walk for 15 minutes (see orange dots on the map.....) from the Bus Terminal to get to the bus stop Lækjartorg A, hop on the bus 11 (direction Seltjarnarnes) (see blue line on the map___), get off at the bus stop Hæðarbraut and then walk for a few minutes (see orange dots on the map.....) to get to the Blue House (Valhusabraut 19) or GNL (Valhusabraut 35).
